Anthropic has upgraded its Claude Code command-line tool with support for multi-repository workspaces. Software engineering teams can now run refactoring operations, dependency audits and architectural migrations spanning dozens of microservices concurrently.
The system introduces automated pull request analysis that inspects proposed code diffs against enterprise security policies and existing unit test suites before human review. Sonnet 5.5 and Opus 5.5 serve as the default reasoning engines for the team tier.
The enhancement positions Claude Code as an autonomous developer teammate capable of generating comprehensive integration tests and verifying build outputs directly in terminal and CI/CD pipelines.
What this means
- Claude Code can now analyze and edit across multiple repositories simultaneously.
- Automated pull request reviews check security compliance and unit test coverage.
- Teams can share persistent workspace memory and agent tools across projects.
